I believe that the best stories are often filled with risk, wrong turns, falls and failures.  Overcoming difficulty is what makes a story so beautifully engaging.  Knowing you've been lost is part of what makes finding your way so sweet.  The journey is what makes the destination so meaningful.  What makes your love story so rich is the road you've walked to find this person with whom you'll share the rest of your story.  And this merging of journeys is such a sweet chapter.

Over the years, as I've documented weddings I have realized the power of knowing my clients' stories and hearts as I walk into shooting their day. Knowing your heart and your story empowers me to better serve you on your wedding day. Knowing the beauty and the heartache and what you've overcome to be standing where you are on your wedding day is the heartbeat of what  I do. Your story is the heartbeat of what I do.  The photos I capture are simply the evidence of your story.  It's beautiful, this messy and imperfect story of yours, and the telling of it is important.  It matters that your children and grandchildren will be able to hold this chapter of your story in their two hands and marvel a bit at where their stories began.
